Andre Imbeault was born in Kingston to a Military family. He and his family relocated to Gander, NL for a number of years, until 1997, when his father was posted back to Kingston. Andre has lived in the Kingston area ever since, and is extremely proud to call this city, Home.

After graduating from KCVI, he attended Loyalist College in Belleville, earning an Ontario College Advanced Diploma in Broadcast Engineering Technology. Now entering his seventh year in the Broadcast industry, Andre works for a group of local radio stations as a technician.

Andre has been passionate about politics since he was in middle school, and has always enjoyed following the issues at all levels of Government. He ran for MPP in the June 2018 Provincial Election, as a first time candidate. He believes the experience gained from running his own Provincial campaign is invaluable to being successful at the Municipal level. The countless evenings spent knocking on doors, the nights spent pounding signs into the ground, the hours of design work making flyers, the time spent preparing for and attending debates and events in the community, doing research, and most of all, talking to people about what matters to THEM was time very well spent, and an incredible experience.

In his spare time, Andre is an avid potter and enjoys making a wide variety of functional and decorative pieces. He was elected to the Board of Directors of the Kingston Potters’ Guild in 2015 and currently serves as the organization’s President. Andre also is a sitting member on the Community Events and Social Media committees.
